Innovation in education means advances in surgery
At the ACS, we are committed to surgeon educators—to fostering innovation, increasing collaboration, and, ultimately, helping surgeons learn what they need to know to improve surgical care for better patient outcomes. Surgeon educators are key to this initiative.
Clinical Congress 2023 features presentations and exhibits on the latest advancements in surgery. Educators won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to be on the cutting-edge of surgical innovations happening around the world. This year’s Clinical Congress program offers more than 120 panel discussions on timely clinical and non-clinical topics, named lectures delivered by world-renowned experts, skills courses, and a scientific forum to help surgeon educators harness invaluable knowledge to pass along to the next generation of surgeons.
Fellowships are available for those seeking additional training after residency in one of the surgical specialties and are designed for the postgraduate board eligible/certified surgeon. The experience can expose participants to techniques that may not have been covered at great length during residency and encourage the pursuit of research activities.
