Board of Governors

Leading the way to higher surgical standards

What Is the Board of Governors?

The Board of Governors is the representative body of the ACS, and its members serve a critical role as liaisons between the Board of Regents and the Fellows. They bring forth the voices and views of their surgical colleagues and develop resources to support Fellows.

Leadership of the Board

The Executive Committee of the Board of Governors has eight members who coordinate with the Board of Regents and collaborate with Â鶹´«Ã½Divisions. They hold monthly conference calls, host Governor orientation webinars and meetings, and plan the Annual Business Meeting.
